Kudrat Adeyemi is passionate about empowering women, strengthening communities, and creating spaces where people feel heard, valued, and supported.

She is the founder and coordinator of the Salam Sisters Association, which she established in 2014 with the aim of empowering women and their communities to develop confidence, grow in faith, and become better versions of themselves.

Through Salam Sisters Association, Kudrat helps to organise workshops, wellbeing activities, and community initiatives while creating safe and welcoming spaces where women can connect, share experiences, and participate in conversations that really matter.

Professionally, Kudrat is a scheme manager in social housing, promoting independence living for older people living in sheltered accommodation through person centred, holistic support.

Across both her professional and community role, she brings empathy, active listening, and a strong commitment to helping women feel valued connected and to participate in conversations that really matter
